Job Summary

This is a full-time position for an experienced Cabinet Installer. We install our work throughout the greater Bay Area. As an installer, you are the last person to touch any given job. You are the face of the company on site, and you are responsible for executing the layout and details for each project.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain open lines of communication across all channels

  • Create and maintain a safe and efficient workspace

  • Meet company standards for quality and efficiency

  • Regularly handle your own projects in the field, managing a helper or working with other installers when applicable

  • Professionally represent the company on site

  • Lay out your work from shop drawings, honoring benchmarks and key alignments

  • Install toe kicks, cabinets, trims, doors, drawer faces, and other cabinet parts

  • Install and adjust hardware

  • Run trim, do finish carpentry, hang entry doors

  • Work in the shop, milling or assembling, as needed

  • Valid CA driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Reliable insured vehicle and extensive tool kit

  • Knowledge of construction, cabinetry, and reading blueprints

  • Extensive cabinet installation experience

  • Experience with demanding layout and intricate interface with other trades

  • Extensive knowledge of woodworking machinery and shop experience a plus

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD a plus

You must be able to:

  • Visit job sites or vendors, using your vehicle or in company truck

  • Work overtime to meet project deadlines when needed

  • Lift 50 pounds frequently, additional with team assist

  • Sit, stand, bend, squat, kneel, twist, ascend, descend, push and/or pull for extended periods of time

  • Be exposed to noise, temperature changes, glues, varnishes, sealers, cleaners, and machinery with moving parts in the shop and job site environment
