Job Summary

This is a full-time position for a Delivery Driver/Assistant. We regularly deliver our cabinets and furniture throughout the greater Bay Area. This position is a natural entry point for learning cabinet making and woodworking with opportunity for advancement. As Delivery Driver/Assistant, you are responsible for making your own deliveries, or if you have less experience, you make deliveries with a Delivery Driver. You generally have a second or third person at deliveries. Be delivering to the correct room on the job, and by organizing the delivery on site, you pave the way for our Installers to move swiftly through their work. Your demeanor and language represents us; by making a safe, clean, efficient delivery, you set a tone for our install work that helps our installers do their job well.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain open lines of communication across all channels

  • Create and maintain a safe and efficient workspace

  • Keep a routine for loading/unloading trucks in a safe and organized manner. Keep this routine consistent with other Delivery Driver(s)

  • Deliver to our install teams in the greater Bay Area in a company vehicle

  • Assist install team with unloading and staging cabinets on site

  • Valid CA driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Appreciation for custom wood working

  • White glove or other full-service moving/delivery experience

  • Forklift Certification a plus

You must be able to:

  • Visit job sites or vendors, using your vehicle or in company truck

  • Work overtime to complete daily routes

  • Lift 50 pounds frequently, additional with team assist

  • Sit, stand, bend, squat, kneel, twist, ascend, descend, push and/or pull for extended periods of time

  • Be exposed to noise, temperature changes, glues, varnishes, sealers, cleaners, and machinery with moving parts in the shop and job site environment
