Our company

Eby construction is a custom cabinetry shop located in Richmond, near the Bart Station. We specialize in high-end cabinetry and woodworking in both residential and commercial settings

Every job that we do is different, in form, function, and material, so no two are alike. Doing custom work means that we really sweat all the details to build beautiful objects. This isn’t a factory, but it’s not an art studio either. We value both craftsmanship and efficiency.

What our office administrators do

• Receive mail
• Answer phone
• Schedule courier
• Process credit card charges to support submitting monthly client invoices
• Pay credit card bills and vendor invoices
• Monthly reporting of expenses for Owner & General Manager
• Purchase & track shop / office supplies
• Track PO’s (placed by other staff)
• Communicate daily with receiving staff on what items to expect
• Confirm PO’s for pick up are ready
• Schedule Delivery Requests
• Time card approvals
• Payroll
• Provide as needed support to office staff

What you need to know

• Proficient document organization
• Minor bookkeeping
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word
• Familiarity with Quickbooks a plus
• Pleasant phone demeanor
• Attention to detail
• Excellent written & verbal communication

Compensation & benefits

In addition to a great work environment, we offer the following benefits:

• Competitive pay $18 - $25 / hr based upon experience
• Part time position - 3 days / week
• 100% medical insurance coverage for employee & family

• 401k retirement program with 4% employer contribution match
• 11-15 paid holidays per year
• Sick time accrual 1 hr per 30 hrs worked with 72 hr cap
• Vacation days – 20 hrs for years 1-2, 40 hrs for years 3-5, 80 hrs for years 6+ with 90 hr cap
